heres my .'DUAL CRUCIFIER'  (double dr boogie) etched graphics, then clear coated to stop oxidization (keep it shiny) ive been wanting to build this for a long time, just never got round to it.
i ripped my old dr boogie apart and added 2 volumes/2 gains etc..nice high and low gain settings..and squeezed it all into a 1590bb.pheww!...@#$%ing awesome pedal much much better now!.and more versatile live.  :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:

youtube demo soon!. :icon_wink:

special thanks to rick (frequency central) and (galego).. for their help with the wiring diagram..coz i'm a dumbass!.. :icon_redface:...cheers guys.!. :-*

Looks awesome, great work!  ;)

You clear coated it, why? Do they usually oxidate? I have left my polished pedals uncoated, and so far so good, but i'm curious if someone has had problems with them oxidizing...

cheers guys, yeah i had an old one that just looked dull after 6months-ish...so i just do it to be sure now!...

OC44/45 Tone Bender MkII, Revamped for the Second time this week (I decided if it got stolen i'd be pissed my favourite set of transistors went as it's a gigging pedal so I changed them)

skullservant

Just finished this one up after a few months of sitting, tweaking, and deciding what I wanted out of it. It's two bazz fuss circuits cascading into each other, with a tone control on the first circuit and the second circuit always at full blast. It was originally going to have 6 knobs: starve 1, starve 2, tone 1, tone 2, input gain, and oscillation, along with two foot switches (one for fuzz, one for oscillation). Decided to scrap all that and just leave the two fuzz circuits. Used all sorts of wrong parts and oddball transistors. It sounds scratchy, noisy, and blown out aka perfect. The enclosure used to house an optical theremin thus the extra holes.

at least the board covers up the messy wiring.

Damnit, when will I have the time to build anything half as cool as what I see in this thread? :(

I think that looks neat. You could line the inside with black paper or plastic to keep
a similar appearance and keep out dust, critters  etc.  :D

The family is complete now. Overdrive, compressor and booster. Still having pop switching issues (even with pulldown resistors) but they work  :icon_lol:

Ah, the Eye of Horus. Very cool. I was gonna use that in a design for my compressor clone until I went with a Spartan warrior instead.

Well, actually the left eye is the Eye of Ra, and the right eye is the Eye of Thoth, both together are the Eyes of Horus.............did you know ? neither did I  ;D

hey...it might sound strange but try tightening your in and out jacks...if they take ground from the chassis and everytime you step on the pedal it ''rumbles'' then you are probably losing connection every time you step on it!
