I've also bought some on ebay (faster shipping buying from the US than fro Futurlec). But, I am so spoiled on Small Bear's prebond that I can't go back to stranded, even though it can be pretty clean using the ribbon cable. I have petitioned Small Bear to get prebond ribbon cable, but apparently it's not possible to manufacture such a thing (or more likely too annoying to be worth it for the manufacturer).

Al Heeley

I get most of my components from Bobs Bits Box, he's uk-based with an ebay shop as well, he sells strips of rainbow ribbon cable, looks nice with the pots.

Just out of curiosity, mcelroy0717, are you supporting the board using double-sided foam tape or are you using something else?

I decided to re-do a couple of my pedals as I was never happy with the original wiring/workmanship, and knew it could be improved on.
It's all standard Tonepad layout apart from the Phase 90 which I modified to fit better in a 1590b, and added 45/90/feedback switching. I must say I fluked getting that switch board to line up with the front panel and will never attempt to mount switches this way again!  :)

Love those.........how did you do the tops? Labels? Please teach me!

Everything I learnt about labelling came from this forum!

The art was done in Illustrator, but most decent drawing packages would suffice.
This was printed onto white waterslide paper using a laser printer. And yes, I did use rather a lot of colour, but it was work's printer so what the hell.  ;)
A few shots of clear laquer brought from a car parts shop on top for protection and a glossy finish.

No sparkle filter on the lens.  The pedals just SO GOOD it happened on its own :-) (yeah, i got all artistic and used a star filter)

The "P45" text is from silver '3d' stickers.
