where did you get the cool pcb from? john's? I WANT SOME :D

Got the copper clad from all electronics in Van Nuys, CA.  That's my funhouse.  I grabbed the last couple of these.  The rest were that see through translucent green stuff.
Looks similar to .Mike's pics but more white and creamy. Pretty stuff.
All electronics is pretty cool those boards are $3 or something like that. Do you ever trek over to Apex?

Only been to Apex once, crazy place!  Need to get back out there...

@Guero,

Is that some form of Booster + Boogie based circuit?

Looks awesome  :o

I'm thinking it's a Tech 21 Character series clone, with a boost.

The booster is a LPB, and isn't a Boogie or variants, just opamps and diodes.

UV300 vibrato rehouse. I had to break one before I got it right. lots of hours here. one of the foot switches has a 390nF cap in parallel with c15 to slow down the rate. I reinstalled the stock status light so its easy to tell that the on-board solder jumper is still intact and the pedal is booting into on mode. the trace you must jumper is about 1/10 the size of an smd part.

ok, it's really shamefully that i decided to post a couple of pictures here!
i started very recently and these are my first 2 working effects.

this is the "either-or", passive AB box, enclosure unpainted and hand engraved.

this is an LPB-1 clone, enclosure polished with a metal brush mounted on a drill

i don't have any guts shot, but i can try to take one of the LPB-1 if someone wants to see (the inside of the either-or is such a mess, i'll never dare show that here!! haha)

cheers

Quotenice use of the hubble telescope though...
Funny fact: Hubble's initial "camera", the WFPC had 800 x 800 px CCDs. Its latest installment (WFC3) only has 2048 x 4096 px. The ACS also has a bunch of similar CCDs. The way we get up to 650 Mpx images from Hubble is the same way I make 300 Mpx panoramas with a 10 Mpx camera: stitching.
The images above are 2000 x 3008, so the joke isn't that far-fetched.

Looks amazing Rick - One question - Have you had any reliability issues with the little toggle switches? I Recently had two guitar mods from about 18-24 months ago return this week after the little switches came apart. Two totally different types of players and the same problem. They were decent quality ones too. I know there is likely to be more use of the switch in a guitar pick up situation than in a a box setting. I am just curious. I just ordered some of the ones that have a taller bezel and less of the switch end pokes out. Which ones are you using?
Anyways the red/black theme is looking good ;D

if you figure it out, please start a thread or PM me. everyone is selling the same $1 switches and mouser has $15 switches. I need to do something in between. I seriously worry about pedals coming back from this.
