"Surrounded by pussy" I like that. It's not a very flattering pic, but my most bonded feline pal died recently and I'm feeling sentimental.

Should I upload a few more avatars to mess things up further? Actually I only upped three because I wanna make friends here and not become a stranger anew with each new post. Multiple pictures "dilutes the brand" as they say in stuffy office environments.

I'll get some new build pics up here soon so I can contribute to the thread in ways other than flip remarks about washers...

I miss markeebee's Rolf avatar, things haven't been the same since he switched to Moss. Hence the shakes?

Hey nikolay!
I was wondering...
Are there any good guitar shops in bulgaria worth visiting? :)

Nikolay

Thanks guys.

Yes, there are few guitar shops in our capital - Sofia, but I live in other town - Plovdiv and here are few small shops.

tasos, about music instrument shops in Bulgaria - even shops in Sofia aren't too big by international standards IMO, and most salesmen always kinda look at you like the only thing they want is for you to leave. You probably aren't likely to find a single guitar shop as far as Sandanski ;D I've heard that there are many great music shops for one to visit in Istanbul, though. However, since the market for music gear is small, one is likely to cut some great deals, esp. in used stuff.

Niki, funny thing - I was thinking about building a small Zvex SHO-based guitar booster and calling it ХУЙ, too :D

cloudscapes, impressive as always! I especially like the LED indicators. About the chip you're using - it's a 328, isn't it. Isn't it overkill for what it does? The ease of reprogramming it kinda compensates for that, but I'd go the ATtiny45/assembly way... then get distracted by a housefly and abandon the project for good, but that's another story.

fretzburner, amazing work! can we haz ur perf layout plz? kthxbye.  :D

fretzburner

Thanks guys. Here is my perf layout

Trimmer is 250k in the schematic but i used 100k for availability reasons.I was thinking to add 68k resistors on both sides of the trimmer but it sounds ok to me with just the 100k trimmer.By the way this is the stock (block) version. The mods were just added upon housing the unit.

@fretz: great perf work, i just wouldn't have the patience/skill/ to do that...i'd have to make it a pcb,  cool though!... :icon_cool:

Thanks deadastronaut.
I don't have the tools and materials for pcb work and although it takes a lot of work using perf it's okay anyway i will only build one for myself. All my builds were using perf and i'm very satisfied with the results. It's like personal accomplishment with hard work building our own pedals. All my original pedals are already in their respective boxes because i will be using my own builds. Will post them later.
