They're getting tidier, the guitar had a lot of messing around and i kept everything long so i could move things around in the cavity.
The Dr Boogie was my first perfboard project, I like it! Worked first time round, and the board looks so much nicer than with copper strips everywhere.

Hey John... you should check out the scissor cut copper clad at Electronic Goldmine: http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/products.asp?dept=1034

I did a plate on a Rat for a friend. I etched away all but the boxes and lettering, tinned them, and did an etch of a nasty rat on the backside. If you can keep the stuff from staining, it's so thin, very translucent. The copper from the backside shows through as a brownish figure. I did some tests before hand painting the backside with some really fantastic results. Yellow worked great, kind of a vintage look of sorts, and contrasts the copper well. It's thin enough, though, that you can pull up edges, so you'd want to secure it with some double sided tape. I got pictures of it before I sent it off, but they are on the Sony and I can't find the cable.
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

I love the marbleized PCB surface! Can you talk about your grounding technique? It seems like the output lugs only have one wire attached.

Why should you not have 90o angles? Do the electrons bunch up in the corners?

The ground lug of the input and jack is touching the enclosure (by way of how it is mounted through the hole), which grounds the enclosure and anything touching it, including the output jack.

Magnus Modulus

Great builds, Nicklas! Really nice and tidy! Well done!  ;)
What type (size) of enclosure did you use for the Magnus Modulus?

Fun little product we just released. The Acoustic Pickup Adapter which is a mounting ring that allows you to mount a standard electric guitar pickup in an acoustic guitar without having to modify the guitar.

Erm. don't you have to mod the guitar for the tone/volume control, plus jack socket  ???

You can mount the controls inside a guitar pretty easily, and it wouldn't be too hard to wire a trimmer into that plastic holder. Otherwise, just wire the pickup to the jack. yes, you do need to install a jack in an acoustic guitar ... to use any mounted pickup.

These are clearly designed to add an electric guitar pickup to an acoustic. It's 1935 all over again!

The jack goes where the end pin is. I've got a couple of acoustic electrics and you wouldn't know they were electric unless you look for the hole in the jack. My Martin has a trim pot installed just inside the sound hole near the low E string. It's easy to adjust. Here's a video of the jack installation:

you can easily build a small box like this, it's the wellknown SWTC and it goes direcly on the output jack.
