@Bean: My jaw dropped when I saw that
Nucleon FX - PCBs at the core of tone

^^That faceplate is unreal. Sounds awesome, too.

Fuzz Face with really low gain Germs (both 60 with leakage around 70), increased mids focus, smaller input cap, and 100K volume pot. More cut this way, no mush, and perfect cleanup. Pretty happy with it despite some things going wrong with the boxing and painting and a mistake on my layout at first that made biasing correctly impossible. :P

You guys make wicked gnarly graphics!  SALUTE!!

I must sheepishly ask a question:  Is it flattery to implement some of YOUR ideas on my pedals, or is it rude.  Example: Were I to etch out an aluminum or copper plate and adhere that to the top of my pedal to label controls (John Lyons  ;) )... do I become a mortal foe?

CHAD

(there is, of course, no possible way I could literally, artistically copy any of these due to my talent ability, I'm inquiring about borrowing ideas)

@Seedlings what else is this thread for?? I gather ideas here all the time. that's why i check back 2 or 3 times a day. I use this to discover technique and new Must builds. not playing guitar (i know) you have to find other ways of pushing forward, outside of build requests from mates.

This is my first real pedal build (after a couple messed up practice builds that were scrapped). From about two years ago.

I used white embossing powder on transparency, applied wet and then clearcoated. I have yet to find a way to do white lettering and logos that I like, but this looks alright.

Also, I love jacks on top, and with this configuration, using the 1/8th plug for power, I got all three on top in a 1590B enclosure. Notice the dremel work to get the backplate to fit flush. The LED is yellow which highlights the orange paint nicely.

Hello together,
I've seen some of those 3PDT-PCB's as on the Orange Squeezer above in the last time...

...so what is the advantage of using them (don't understand)?

I don't use them so much anymore, especially now that my soldering skills are much better and I'm using teflon wire.
However, using the boards was helpful for a few reasons:
- apply heat quickly to stompswitch pins to avoid melting the switch innards
- onboard LED resistor
- no mixups wiring I/O, where re-soldering would be needed to fix
- less likely to short circuit, from melted wire jacket or a jumper wire
- wires point down into the enclosure for clean routing

Just hard-headed. Earlier I had a bunch of tools and a half assembled Dr. Boogie in my lap and he decides to hop up in my lap. Lil B^$+ard

Nice selection of color with the yellow and black!  I also like your mounting technique for the bypass switch and pots. Very nice!:)
