Just hard-headed. Earlier I had a bunch of tools and a half assembled Dr. Boogie in my lap and he decides to hop up in my lap. Lil B^$+ard

Cats have no respect. Here's how I imagine their thought processes:

1) Electronic components belong on the floor.
2) The shortest path between two points is across the computer keyboard-only if a human is typing.
3) I'm going to stand on the human's chest while he's asleep so when he wakes up he'll find my ass in his face.
4) I must aid entropy and reduce all furniture to dust.

Nice selection of color with the yellow and black!  I also like your mounting technique for the bypass switch and pots. Very nice!:)

Me too - that is a unique space-saver. First time I've seen that approach.

From whence came the groovy black knobs? I like 'em.

Hey thanks for warm comments, the design is not mine it is from here http://www.musiker-board.de/faq-workshop-bass/388884-workshop-jam-kompressor-fuer-bass-gitarre-platinen-version-1-4-a.html .For pots there meant to be alpha 16mm but I decided to go with alpha 9mm, and as you can see I use little stripboards for easy hook up and find that it is much easier to match drillings. Knobs are quite cheap from ebay, they come in silver or black, I've got them from here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Black-SKREDDY-STYLE-CONTROL-KNOB-ALUMINIUM-15mm-17mm-Stompbox-DIY-/230841524326?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item35bf3a2066#ht_500wt_1219
In the past I've built 240V version of carl martin compressor clone and I was happy with results but now decide to rebuild a 9V version.

How you securing your boards john? double sided tape?

Ronan

mictester's really cheap compressor:

love the sound, adds some sort of subtle clarity. I have some spare pcb's left over, as usual.

That Vorg warp sound pedal sounds fantastic John, that goes on the breadboard tomorrow!

I had this bearing case laying around from my skate days and thought it would be cool to put something in it. So I made a huminator. Thanks to Beavis Audio for the schem.

I use thick rubber double sided tape, doubled up. Say that 10x fast!  ;D
