That is a really nice enclosure, until I see some guts I'm gonna assume it's just an empty enclosure  ;D

Finally I finish my new N-audio product:

The new Isolated guitar splitter / Di box. This small but powerful device has a lot of possibilities for usage.

I make a 3d movie to show how the splitter looks:

made a couple pedals for some friends in a local band named empire cinema (hence the Echo Charlie). the echo charlie is actually just a rebote delay, the second is a magnus modulus. i took pictures of the finished pcb for the rebote but, unfortunately i didnt grab finished gut shots before i passed them off. doodoo iphone pics, sorry.

just found a couple older pictures. a dr phybes w/ crappy paint job and an ocd. this ocd is ridiculously loud. the volume knob is almost unusable. might need to do a little debugging.
once again, the gutshots are mysteriously missing. i remember taking them, but cant find them and i'm at work.

1176 Effects Rub-A-Dub Reverb

Excellent transparent dry path and the reverb tails some progressive bass loss. Sounds beautiful. I used the long brick because my amp does really great spring reverb already, so I wanted something hall-like. I really like the sound of it, I played with it for hours and didn't want to turn it off. I can really recommend this even if you don't think you have much use for a reverb pedal, but beware that the module is very expensive ($18, pretty much the cost of everything else in the pedal combined :messedup).

Hybrid Buzzaround (using Madbean's schematic)

I had a bit of an adventure tweaking this to get it how I liked it ... the circuit has a reputation for being pretty tolerant of transistors, so you can usually plug any old thing in there (with some caveats for Q3) but I found it became even more versatile by using an extremely low-gain silicon in Q2, and flipping the diode, then shooting for a good forward voltage to focus the distortion. It's less spongy with the sustain control turned down and can be cleaned up a little more with the guitar volume on low sustain settings, but it'll still saturate on higher settings. Here's a more detailed build report: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=6385

Hi John,

I have been thinking about the possibility of using coloured pcb for amplifier faceplates. The stark white ones you have here look great. Do they come as long as 17" (Trainwreck-style)? Do you have them?

Thanks,

Christopher
