Thats John! I think I removed the white washer since that pic was taken and replaced with a metal one I usually try not to use the white washers on the outside.

i love the high gain sound you can get with this simple pedal

Just finished making this for some one else. Its a modded flatline comp and a modded sonic maximizer. Set up for bass. It really adds a lot of thickness and punch Ill have to make another for myself

Heres the guts , not very pretty but it works !

Flatline pcb I remade the layout in PCBexpress and etched myself, and Sonic maxmizer on vero I built from sabrotones layout on the right. I made this for a bass player in NY, I tested out with a bass rig and it sounded great! But then I figured id try it with a guitar and man I loved it, I had modded the circuits a lil with input and output caps more for bass freqs and was surprised how good it sounded with guitar still. I gotta make myself another flatline their really great!

Sorry.     No insult intended in my earlier post and I'm sure Mike didn't intend any either. There are lots of people from different countries on the forum and language gets tricky sometimes.

Haha yeah when I was first designing the graphics I spelled It Monocle I thought that was correct and it actually is but apparently the "more" correct and original spelling was monicle from what I read so that's what I went with. But really yeah What the heck is a Monicle! I maybe should make the next one Monocle Since its a "mono" optical compressor.

also the spelling corrector here says Monicle is wrong D; but I swear google told me Monicle!

Would you mind sharing what guage/type of washers you use as a replacement?  I've been struggling to find any that fit the bill.
