Slade, that is freaking amazing.  Fantastic job.  That etch is mind-blowing.

Slade

Thanks for the comments, guys, glad you like it! ;D

roseblood11

Slade, that's really outstanding! Which circuits are included?
-------------

TSD-91 - a TS-9 and a SD-1 on one board. The RC4136 sounds really good here...

(Layouts are in my gallery at musikding.de, one for TS-9 and SD-1, one for two TS-9's)

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

John Lyons

^ you got it... Texture.
It blemds between two different gain stages.
In the middle settings it's out of phase a bit
and gets a sort of Octave/growling undertone

I just thought you had made a writer fuzz...

Looks awesome, as always, John.

hi tonetested, welcome to the forum, I don't know that you are going to like it here much, hard to say who/where you are. and you have only posted an add for your pedal.

how about some gut shots.

it would be more subtle to leave your tumblr in your signature. and leave it at that.

if you have been working on this for some time, you must have other builds, these would be more interesting to me (and relevant to this forum) than a "commercial build"

take it easy

EDIT- Kurtlives beat me to it, too much waffle

Build looks nice Tonetested. Hang out a bit and have fun.
Lets not jump the gun folks, but yeah, tonetested could have
had a bit more tact.  ;)

Cool, did you have to retap the screws?

midwayfair

That mini maestro is awesome! Can't say I've ever seen a hacksawed case before.

Shrunken version of my Blue Warbler envelope vibe (hey, I said it would happen sooner or later):

I had a bunch of stuff go wrong with this one before it was finished, but it's working well now. If you want to read about just how many dumb things can go wrong with a circuit built by the guy who designed it, here's a build report: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=7305.0

Long story short, a better drilling template and one more row on my layout would have made it a lot easier. I also learned that the vactrol MUST be a VTL5C1. I couldn't get anything else to work for some reason, though I can't figure out why that should be. More testing might probably needed. I did most of the design work on the vibe side and added the trem switch after I'd already settled on the vactrol. :/

Yes There Was Just Enough Meat Left To Retap For The Screws

^ If I'd tried that with a hacksaw, it would have looked hacked up!  Great job!
