Nope, spray paint layer then acrylic paint then a layer of clear coat and that's it !

In theory, it simulates a guitar pickup and preserves the Bazz Fuss sound when it's preceded by buffered effects, active/buffered pickups, and stuff like that. It's not like I ever had an issue with that sort of thing. But it's such a simple/small circuit, and I happened to have a 42TM018, so I put it in there. 8)
