Hello,

@thom: Looks great!

@duck arse:
For grinding massive wood to get a perfect surface you can start with a grit of 80,
then 120, then 240 and finally 600(!) - the finer the grit-paper the more pressure is needed at grinding...

Sorry if this message is bad at english, maybe I wrote everyting correct but I'm not sure  ;)

Greetings
Magnus

Yeah, would have been kinda obvious.  I was hoping no-one would notice that!   :D  I do tend to drill and paint my boxes waaay before deciding what to put on the front.   :-\

Just saw this pedal on a friends facebook page. Sounds nice. Is this going to a fellow named Chad?

@magnus, yr english is better than mine. I find if I start "grinding" my wood w/ 80, it tends to leave scratches/gouges that I can't grind out. I start ~200, then 400, 800 if I have some, then 1200 if I can be bothered, and have enough sheets. the sawdust clogs my nose, too.

@thom, how'd you gouge out yr under, router? chisel? drill and screwdriver? rusty nail? we don't get much oak round here, unless it's growing. I'm using tasmanian oak, comes from old skirting boards. it's really soft/wide grained, but I've run out and have to use JARRA next. world's hardest wood, near enough.

Looking great as always john! I want to use that amber jewel-light in one of my builds. I put an amber light on my tweed deluxe and found it looked really good in combination with the cream dakaware 2300 knobs and chrome chassis.

2000W router  ;D
It ain't pretty inside, but it's roomy enough

I live in South West France, and we've got more oak trees here than, well, pretty much anything  :)

No transistors, but you can see a tube socket...  ;)

Finally got around to rehousing the BYOC Divided Octave that I built a couple of years ago.  Given that it is octave up and down, the Escher artwork seemed appropriate.
