Left out the input pot, so it drives all the time.....  Probably going to switch it around, also I used a 2n3904...

Mac, when I tried a 2n3904 in mine I thought it sounded really dark, too. But the 2n5088's I had made it harsh...

I live in South West France, and we've got more oak trees here than, well, pretty much anything

It's very clean, actually, but only when used with a regulated PS.
There a tiny bit of background noise when I use it with a mike to record vocals on my PC, but it gets lost in the mix.

It's very versatile and easy to put together (I'm still very much a newbie here), I can't recommend it enough

Nah, just a water-slide with the contrast on the graphic a little too low!

The "knobs" are Alpha 9mm snap in pots. I get those from Tayda.
