R.G. Keene: EXPECT there to be errors, and defeat them...

tubeg - do you always put yr jacks at the top, or have you moved them? I ask this as I'm about to start shifting from the top to the sides.

Jury's still out. I feel like I was once able to get in, out & a DC jack all on the top, but I couldn'r get 'er done this time for some reason... so no DC jack. I'd rather have all three somewhere so that would lead me to either figure out what I'm doing wrong or moving the jacks to the sides. If I used the plastic-body jacks I'm sure I could keep it all up top but I prefer the Switchcraft jacks.

As a sideways step, I drew up a REV 2 of the PCB, which is smaller than what you see in the pics. That was a move to try and get everything to fit better. Unit #3 will get the new PCB.

With 9mm pots you can fit the pots under an open framed jack in a 1590B depth enclosure.

And ... the Snow Day OD
Love the whole look of this. Looking forward to the project thread.

Also, thanks for the source for the optical bypass. I hadn't seen that before. What a great price and easy solution.

thanks.

Quote from: BLACK AUDIO on March 06, 2014, 04:22:40 PMI love this simple design. Is it 1590BB enclosure? I just trying to get into BB harmonic percolator, Black Arts Ritual and two LPB1  :icon_lol:

It has a coating of what seems to be sweet and sour sauce. Interesting  :D

Got my first fabbed pcb back from OSH Park the other day. EA Tremolo and a 3pdt board. My only mistake was the silk screen orientation for the LED... should be the other way... but it works as intended. I should've done all the wiring underneath the boards instead of coming to the top with the leads. And the O lead needs to be tended to. Good thing I've got 2 more of each. Yay Eagle and OSH Park!

Neoctavia from tone pad with octave switch. This is my favorite build this far and also my cleanest! Well at up until the off board wiring part... The paint job is inspired by someone a few pages back who painted several layers and sanded them off in spots. I added my own twist by engraving the enclosure before painting so the words would retain the top coat of paint. I'm really happy with how this pedal turned out!

My Alien inspired 1776 Effects Suckerpunch. Definitely inspired by Glops' fantastic reverse etched pedals. Thanks to Glops and Hexjibber for help with the etching process.

Why is the bottom-left cap holder, on the 3PDT board, marked "TITS" ? :o
