Long ago I wanted to show what I do, and the design of the boxes. It was my girlfriend who designed them and I was the one who assembled all together. We decided to be as craft work ( as we have so many musician friends ) should design them to give away exclusively on their birthdays. These were the two first gifted them . And the pedals were detonated orders from many friends and some more remote parts of our state. I wanted to share with you more than my boxes , my happiness to be able to devote myself to what I like to do , and most of this dream come true , I owe to this forum and everyone who always provide content, comments , experience and support.
It is thanks to you that I can today be working from home with my girlfriend, together on this project to give musicians a good quality and inexpensive pedal . Because we are all musicians, and we know that is inside a pedal , we also know that there are unjustified prices . And some of us have had to break the pig to get the coins in order to pay for a pedal.

So I wanted to tell , from Buenos Aires , Argentina :
THANK YOU ALL!

^ have fun with that, it's on the pedal board and "always on" for a lot of folks around here.

I see why, this thing is great. And for all the pics after my earlier post... amazing work!

now, that is fantastic! TAKE THAT, boss!

I'm always wondered about the working direction of the side/end mount pots. too easy to think them wrong. I spose you'd just give a twiddle to find out, no?

there was a fella abouts was doing an entire line of boss in perspex (then painting), I wonder what happened to him/how his is going/ what he would make of.

Yeah I just give a twiddle to find out. But sound is really sweet. You can see all process in my blog http://www.xn--jnis-qsa.lv/dual-valvemaster/ text is in Latvian but you can check pictures. Or Instagram, search user: janisaltmanis

That's a beautiful etch.  I dig the nonstandard knobs as well.

strange, the images didn't show, so I looked at the source. I was going to correct it, but quoting now shows them.

worth looking just to see the mega activee.

Hey guys, this is my latest build. A 3 channel guitar preamp. Main features:

- 3 switchable channels (it can be done MIDI compatible);
- switchable cab-simulator
- Separate EQ and Gain/Volume controls for Clean / Crunch-Lead
- uC switching system

Soon sound samples.

Best regards,

My ship in a bottle fuzz -- pretty sure this one's unique!

Close-up of the board:

This is a fuzz made with all-glass components. Well, except for that power-filtering cap, but electros simply don't exist in glass that I've ever been able to find. :)

I've wanted to build this forever, but the resistors were almost impossible to get and are extremely expensive when the do pop up. Govt Lackey (Greg) was incredibly generous and hooked me up with enough to make a few pedals with -- most importantly with a few almost-impossible-to-find 500K resistors.

The capacitors are actually glass-encased SMD components that someone on BYOC posted about recently. This was really the final kicker, because it meant that I could do everything in glass instead of my original plan, which was to use metal caps (and probably metal transistors).

Since I had such a limited range of components, I had to design a new circuit. I'll post a small build thread with the demo in a moment, with the caveat that the project could probably use some refinement when using "real" components.

I wanted a combination of faux 3D and two-dimensional cartoonishness for the ship itself. I thought it came out really well. I showed it to a friend who then asked if I could do something similar for his duo's EP cover! That was kind of neat.

Incredible! Only thing that could possibly be cooler would be a glass PCB!

It's SMD, but with the right bit I bet you could do through-hole.

maybe with some plexiglass with a high melting point and point to point wiring/soldering wouldn't give the neatest result but would definitely be an easy way to try
