Unfortunately, according to their website, the 6322/6722 is obsolete.   :?

It looks like it dates back to around 1990, so I guess that's not suprising.

That would be great if you found one.  I looked around a little but came up with nothing.  All I could find was a bunch of DSP stuff.  That chip did have a couple of shortcomings.  It didn't do a full octave down.  You also couldn't "dial-in" a full octave up (with a rotary encoder, for example).  They way they designed it, the only way to get a full octave up was to build it with the momentary push buttons and push, push, push, push, push, push, push, push.  :)

The Italian author designed his/her circuit with the push buttons, probably for that reason.

Looks like the only thing close is the Holtek HT8950.
That's the heart of the PitchShifter @ GGG.
It uses switches also.
Can't see how much shift it does.
I doubt if it's an octave up & and/or an octave down.
This article seems only good for the reading.
Since U won't be able to ever construct it.
again,   :(

Octave down is fairly easy with things like the RocktiveDividor.
I'm still working on a way to get an octave *up* out of it.
:)
I'm actually multiplying the SQ output by x8, then dividing back
down to get x2 & x4.  Will still have divideby2 & divideby4.
Then mix them individually together with a tone control on each.
