lofo mofo PLZ HELP

Hi,

just built a lofomofo from GGG.  I have soldered everything like in the wiring diagram.  The effects works on both batteries and DC jack, BUT the LED only lights up with the battery, not with the DC jack.  I checked, double checked, triple checked, switched different LEDs with different voltages and nothing... I just don't know what to do.  Please help!
