Edu:

ese esquema nunca lo vi. Dentro de unos dias me van a traer uno de esos chorus para reparar, si vos tenes una camara digital o un scanner podemos sacarle unas imagenes y en base a eso se puede sacar el circuito.

Saludos

Miguel

English version: :)
I've never seen it around.

If you have a digital camera or scanner, you can help me to trace it, as soon I'll be repairing one of those.

If anyone has the schem, I'd like to see it too!

Luck!

Creo que es el mismo circuito como el Boss CE-2.

I'm sure I just made some mistakes, but I haven't spoken Spanish in a while and I just woke up.

edu38

para nuestra desgracia no se parece al boss ce 2,por lo menos el planito que yo tengo que baje de la web, este voodoo es bastante + complejo.....

saludos y seguimos en contacto....

anyone have a schematic to this yet?

I second that. In fact, any other Voodo stuff out there? Layout/schem?

But in Egnrish

Its just a CE-1 with the usual mods.

But ... Isnt it strange how its ok to ask for currently-in-production voodoo-lab schematics but not others ... where are the IP police today then ?

QuoteStrikingly vocal with a distinctive organic tone, the Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus is the only true sonic replica of the most sought after chorus of all time– the 1976 CE-1.

look at the OP`s timestamp
and btw
it was during those forumtransitions.

Looking at that schem I can say it's pretty different to the Voodoo Labs. The VL pedal uses a MN3101 clock driver, and a CD4046 PLL for interacting the LFO to the BBD. The BBD was a MN3009 on the pedal I looked IIRC.

Luck!

i have a voodoolab chorus right here and i'm not going to trace it, way too complicated for me. i added a volume pot tone knob tough. i mailed voodoolab asking how i could boost the volume a little to compensate the volume loss of the tonestack and they helped me right away. they don't give the schematic ;)

Do you have the version with or without led? Does it make a strange noise with the intensity all up?

What about their Fuzz? Anyone saw a schem for THAT? Not that I'm proposing to hack someone's commercial secret, but it is a very cool pedal! :icon_twisted:

by fuzz you mean the bosstone?. it's just a jordan bosstone with a 1k resistor added at the pot, mpsa18 and 2n2222 transistors, and 1n4007 diodes.
I've got both the analog chorus and a real ce1 and can confirm they don't sound even close. the ce1 wins by a lot. and they are completely different circuits.
Miguel: if you need me to check voltages or something, let me know.

I had wondered...
at first glance it appears like it could be a ce-1 but when I started reversing it things didn't jive...

But seriously...all the secrecy among pedal builders is totally and utterly ridiculous. There isn't THAT many ways to skin a cat, you know!!??

That said, Voodoo Labs won't return emails about support for some reason.
