DIY FX loop for Behringer combo?

Hola!

I just got myself a Behringer GM108 combo. It's a 15W, 1x8" nice little box featuring Behringer's analog modelling, which is also used in ther Tech21 clone pedal (GDI21). This is really a great combo with great sounds and lots of possibilities. Splendid sound and good reaction to an overdrive pedal up-front. Amazing bang-for-buck 8)

However there is no built-in reverb, and no FX loop so you basically cannot use post-FX's like modulation/delay/reverb.

Questions:

1)
Any of you have an estimate of the possibilities for opening up the amp (which I highly suspect to be an SMD build), and inserting an FX loop? Is it difficult to do this (for a newbie)?

2)
Any suggestion how identify where to "inject" the FX loop circuit on the print?

3)
Any good FX loop circuit diagrams/layouts?

Thanks  :D

Just got this idea (will try out tonight when I'm back from work):

As the amp has both headphone-out and CD-in connections I might be able to insert my post-FX's there... The mix is probably 50%, but anyway... Worth a try  :D

i have one of the V-ampire amps they make and was quite relieved to realize that there are some very familiar things in there and not everything is smd however over 50% of it is.

mine uses lm3886 chips for the power section. or well it did till i decided to gut the whole thing and put in two el34's in there with a tube preamp as well.

one thing i hated about the behringer is they use this god awful heavy transformer.  and i measured and remeasured the thing and found two smaller transformers with the same or slightly better votlage/amperage ratings and they were sooooooooooo much lighter.  so before i started gutting this thing i lost 15 lbs of weight by just changin out the the transformer.
