My Phase 90 has crapped out on me.  It bypasses, so it still works.  But I stomp on the switch and nothing, except for a very faint signal.

Could the stompswitch be going bad?  It's stuck to my pedal board and not getting knocked around very much.

Anything could be bad, from the stompswitch to a bad battery clip, and anything in between. You're going to have to figure it out. Get out your DMM and an audio probe and go to debugging. Read the Guitar Effects Debugging Page at GEO, and the "What to do when it doesn't work" sticky and get started.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

It's running off a power jack, no battery in the pedal.  The light comes on still, so it is getting power.

I hope I can fix it, I have no money to replace it.

I tried mine and nothing passes through it...gotts to get in there and figure it out again..

Danny, is that a homebuilt, MXR, or Dunlop reissue?

Run o' the mill Dunlop Phase 90.  (With an R28 toggle switch, heh)

I have yet to build a phaser that sounds as sweet.  I've tried several, and no dice.

Sometimes, the pot goes intermittant on the reissues. Gives the same symptoms.
