POP! ...No smoke.

So I finished breadboarding a Green Ringer this afternoon.  I wanted to re-bias it to some more "normal" values than what is in the schematic.  Anywho... I take it over to the amp (already powered on) plug everything in... and POP!... Holy shizzle!  A huge pop-crack came from the speakers (with the level at about 0.25).  No smoke...  looked at it again... tried it again and it sounded fine.  Dunno, I guess some of the leads on the DPDT touched.  Nothing was soldered yet, and I thought I insulated all the contacts well enuff... guess not.

Anyways, the amp seems to be o.k. but I must say, I am going to build a breadboard station so I can easily prototype and have the switch, jacks, power, etc soldered and secure.  I think I saw something like it on GEO or GGG, can't remember now... but at the time I thought thats neat, but seems like a hassle.  Oops I was wrong.

Lesson learned.
