Hi....

so....

Is that possible?  There are no speaker out so I guess there would need to be some wiring to do in the amp, right?  I would really like to have that piece of equipment.... just like to know if it's possible...

Any help?

Thanks,

Matt

I heard most of the attentuators out there and didn't like any of them.  The speakers just don't sound the same when using attentuators for some reason.  I never heard it with a Peavey classic 50 only a  marshall SLP59.  I think there is better attentuators then the THD hotplate out there, not sure though, that is what i read on the internet at various places.

good luck  ;D

PS:Sorry i can't help ya on the wiring.  ???

The peavey 50 already has EL84's in it so I'm not sure it would work

the tubes don't matter.  the thd hot plate goes between the power amp and the speakers.
the only issue is what the load should be, hence they have different models for different
loads.  4, 8, and 16 ohms are the most common.  i believe your amp is either 8 or 16.

if the speakers don't have a 1/4" jack then you will need to install one.  be sure to use
speaker cable and not guitar cable.

i have one for my amps and i often use it for small venues. ;) 8)
