What would be the point of this?

Well for one it's a really cool effect that takes up a lot of space on a pedal board. The fact that it has delay capabilities, but that they are only good for very short slap-back delays kind of stinks. It's almost as if they want you to buy a Memory Man. I'm sure they do.

If the delay time could be increased you could have several great effects in one box. For me I find that I only use one or the other here and there, so something like this would be great in one unit. I also have heard that you can mod it to have a uni-vibe like effect as well. That would rock!

I have both.  I originally had the polychorus and wanted more delay.  So I bought a Deluxe MemoryMan.  The plan was to sell the polychorus but they both have their pros and cons.  Now I don't know if I will.  The DMM's delay and chorus is really good to me, but I love the flange(which is sort of a chorus to me) on the poly.

I just got a polychorus....not sure if the 4053 switching is working correctly. I seem to get a chorus sound with more delay in the "double track" setting, is this normal? I havent managed to set it to a "normal" slapback delay yet...

I don't think so.  My doubltrack is just that a real fast/short delay.  No chorusing that I can think of.  Dumb question, but is your knob on correctly?  I know, I know.

Will start by replacing the 4053's....... atleast they are socketed :)
