ok so im modding a crybaby, and i want to add a boost.  ive already got some working boosts sitting around, but im finding it quite challenging to work out how to wire them in with the wah.  i know i want the boost after the wah circuit.  i performed a true bypass mod on the pedal already, and im wondering if anyone can point me to some type of rough sketch of how i should wire the circuit in.

no one ever

this would be very useful to me, as i removed the buffer and can't cope with the tone loss created by lowering the value of the input resistor.

when you say tone loss by lowering input resistor.   what exactly do you mean..  i have never notice a loss of tone this way but a much better sounding wah. with say a 47k resistor instead of the 68k  most of the other boutique builders seem to agree with me as they have done the same to their wah's???  again this isnt' an argument only a question.  :D

the output buffer for the mccoy wah at fuzz central  adds a volume boost to the wah without losing tone. there is a 100k trimmer that acts as a volume control so you can set it to match the bypassed volume.

hope this helps.
