  It took serious debugging.
I used a new technique for the LED/LDR, that is mount the LED's in holes drilled in perfboard, Cathodes on one side Anodes on the other, this is nice because the leads and holes keep the LED's completely stable, and doesn't allow shorts [some of the leads connect together of course, all are tieing the body in the hole and are connected to pads, the LED's lenses protrude from the non copper side of the perfboard. Then I stabbed the LDR leads through cardboard [I then bent the leads to hold them in place just right and glued another reinforcement piece on], the LED/LDr alignment part was easy then with just double stick foam and alignment wires through both LED and LDR boards. I marked center on the line of LEDs and LDR's, two LED's can fit in adjacent perfholes, three won't so a 'space of 1 perfpad in the middle allowed a nice LED lineup. The drill bit was perfectly large enough, I 'eased' the sides a little and they stuck in tight with thumbnail driving the body in from the back, tight and sweet aimed and spaced perfectly.
Works great with the ambient light dim, *slightly better [lol] when ambient light is off [I like phasing in the dark].
It should be easy to construct a box for the three open sides, tape the bottom and put it in a sealed box where the main source of light is are the two open LED's in the LFO, which can simply be taped/painted.
I changed the big RS LED's [20ma] to the ones Small Bear offers for EZ Vibe...something I did seemed to take the tick out.
I had it wired for vibe for testing, and got the SPDT for switching from CHorus/vibe.
HAve to say it was worth constructing a second EZ Vibe here, using the correct components DOES make a difference !!!
Board looks great, all color coded wires are bound through the board, all the pots are new, none of the offboard wires are tangled in each other... :P...clean !!! Just like the sound of it.
3PDT BP and box are going to take a bit more time, I would like the speed control on a pedal...I'm looking for a 'twist spring' [like in a clock] strong enough to turn the potshaft to full CW when the pedal toe is down, or a 'reel' takeup spring for the 'running the string through and around the pot [EB Volume pedal] technique...otherwise the takeup spring requires a rather long box.
It is running with TL082's, but TL062's [low current] were ordered today, and will be installed when they arrive.

Heck this was easier to hack than I though, pedal range is just ever so slightly 'bunched up' near toe up, where I'd like more 'spread' over the mid to fast control.
I used a pedal I'd put for a wah [Spring/String thing like EB Volume pedal]...the wah sorta worked, so it got kicked out with the mechanism.
LSShort a ziptie does all the work, ziptied to a 2'' slider pots shaft, it goes into a hole in the pedal toe, and a screw also put in the hole easily sets it in place.
For the heel back limiter [so I don't pull on and rip the wiper out of the pot], I used a dowel rod, quick accurate [just tap on it with a hammer then test the travel length of the pedal]...toe down doesn't need limited because the ziptie just pushes a little bit, then bends. I though I was going to have to sheath most of the ziptie to keep bending to a min, but the pot has easy throw so one ziptie and 15 minutes did that trick.
Now I have EZ Vibe in nice box with Blue Switch, cap and cap connections where I can put switching in or just swap them !! I tested phasing, and under heavy light at the right angle phase depth is slightly noticable reduced. I'll block all the holes and put a 'guide' around the ziptie to block light there too.
Works great, haven't set it on the floor yet though...
I'll probably make the last part of the toe travel 'sprung'.
Super Cool phase pedal, looks like crap too...I'll try getting the camera to turn on again..LArge RAco !!!
Big Thanks to John Hollis for the excellent EZ Vibe !!!
