I decided to increase the range and total resistance of the Gain control pot on the TSF thing, now it has R ranging from 150k [about unity] to 650k, which is really nice, [I thought 1 meg was a bit much] the Stratoblaster has more than enough output, and could probably use a stop resistor on it's pot...it's fine as long as I don't bump it much past 8.
It's probably close enough to Frank Clarks' Hot Harmonics to say...This Is a very nice sound.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Well finally got my circuit up and going.  After just a few minutes of use, I'd have to say I'm very pleased with this Red Llama circuit.  Seems to interact well with your playing allowing for dynamics to come through.  It also cleans up fairly well.  I love the way it sounds with chords....and has TONS of volume.  Over all I'm very pleased and will probably make some other 4049 based circuits in the near future!

It does sound sweet, doesn't it? It's got TONS of warmness.
