The internet sure is great for effects schematics.  One of those things where it actually is an info highway?

yes Pete, that is a Dunlop case. I have to etch the paint areas to assure adhesion, that is actually more time consuming than the painting. I draw out the proposed paint areas with a sharpie then use a dremel ( flame shape cutter head) to rough the surface within the sharpie line. that is why the painted areas have the sculpted look.
the knobs are bakelite , sculpted and painted as well
