Ok. It is a bit OT, but here goes:

So I am building a radio in my "buffer / AB box" so I can add some radio over my playing and destroy it with effects. The radio runs on 2x small AG13 batteries (1.5V). Anyone knows how much current such a battery produces?? I want to know because I want to make it run at 9V.

They are two of those batteries switched in series (so I guess 3V)....

That's easy, just find a data sheet for those batteries and see what kind of current they can deliver. A 9V battery will probably blow them away as far as curent is concerned and last a lot longer.

There's room for problems (=smoke!) here.
Are you trying to run the radio from a 9v supply with your other pedals?
Personally, I'd make a nice wooden housing for the radio (I'ts gonna get wrecked otherwise anyhow) wiht space for a couple of C or D cells, then run wires from the C or D holder to where the power went inside the radio. You'll get a hell of a long life from the batteries.
If you want to know how much current the radio takes, you use your multimeter on current range
eg http://mechatronics.mech.northwestern.edu/design_ref/tools/multimeter.html
One more thing to consider, is that if you ever play in a basement, ther emay not be enough radio signal (esp FM). So I'd take a tape or CD of "found radio" as backup!

use a 3v regulator...100ma (to-92) should be enough

Thanks! I was searching for one of those, but I needed some current info.

(and my multimeter is broken  :icon_redface:)
