Urm, I have no idea what that means... lol
I'm a novice at this stuff but I can solder stuff so...
My ideas is a little box at the end of my fx chain to cut the signal to the amp.

Do you want it on/off if you hit the switch or do you want it off while holding the switch down and then when you let off the switch, your signal returns to the amp(or on)?

Peace!

Yea, I want a standard on/off stomp switch.

You could try just connecting the SP [signal path] to Gnd. using an SPST switch...this would shunt it.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Urm, does anyone have like a list of stuff and diagrams or anything?

remmelt

1 DPDT switch
1 enclosure
2 mono plugs

Make a wire between the rings of both mono plugs.
The DPDT switch has two rows of three pins. Connect the tips of the mono plugs to the middle pins on the switch, one on each side.
Connect a short wire between two pins on the switch, it doesn't matter which side.

Put it in your enclosure.

Done!

Four wires: 1 blue (ground), 2 reds (signal path to switch) 1 green (signal path when engaged)
