At my local hardware store I can get all kinds of spray-on and brush-on finishes. Apparently at your local hardware store they also carry "ugly sticks", because this box looks like it has been "whupped and re-whupped" with one.

it's a burnt CD (it had powerpuff girls and dexters laboratory cartoons on it) and some plastic wrapping material.

those things melt pretty fast

i actually used fixative spray (for charcoal drawings) on it so the soot won't come off. that also made the bad smell go away

i've been planning to do a finish with clear epoxy with lots of various insects embedded

actually i should've done it already cos soon it'll be harder to find all those bugs when the weather starts changing
