It seems he used magnetic sustainer built in his guitar.  Otherwise how did he get such a long sustain? I don't believe one can sustain any note for such a long time with usual stompbox or amp.

if you want i'll go and time the sustain i can get with just my guild (SG-like) and marshall jmp on a moderate volume level. i can asure you i can hit a not go pee and come back with the note still sustaining
