Rocktron Banshee and Heil Talkbox

I blew out my HT-1 on Friday night. I haven't looked at it yet, hopefully I can replace the diaphragm. A friend of mine raced home and brought back his Banshee so I could use it during the 3rd set. I had heard of it before but I had never actually played or heard one. It plugs in-line like a regular pedal. I really liked it. It was more raw and raunchy sounding than the Heil. Not better or worse, just different; and you don't need a set aside amp to drive it.
I a/b'd with the Banshee in the b side and ran both channels at once with the Banshee (the tube up to mic) as a dead end on the b channel.
Anyone else use one of these or have you ever looked inside one?
