Problem with what-seems-to-be-very-rare EH octaver pedal

Over 10 years ago a friend of mine found a strange Electro-Harmonix pedal in the dustbin, which looks like an aircraft carrier. It’s actually this one:

EH-5901 Octave Multiplexer pedal, built in 1975

It’s noisy, weird, but after installing two new battery clips, it works, except for the range switch. Another problem is, the unit is draining battery power even when unplugged. A closer look tells me somebody else has had his hands on this one, with little success.
So you can figure it’d be nice to have a schemo. Anbody knows where to find one?

The schemo seems to have nothing to do with the Deluxe Octave Multiplexer. ICs involved are two 4558’s, and one LM324 and a 4013.

Unfortunately the schematic is quite different from the deluxe, I just got mine back to work ...

I have not drawn a complete schematic, but have a pcb picture with components layout available if that's
of any help ?

Thanks for the links, Bernardduur, but those are for the Deluxe Oct. Multiplexer, a different animal. The reissue that alteredsounds talked about seems to be quite similar to mine, control-wise, except mine is really a pedal, i.e. it looks like a (very big) wha wha, with the pedal controlling the blend pot.

terby, any help is appreciated, although the circuit board seems quite intact, the thing I'm not so sure about is the connections between pots and board, etc.

Wow.

Thank You so very much, Stephen. Best wishes and all.

Here you go ... ;)

If you have any questions about components values, I will have to have another look at the unit ,,,
