yet another Flatline

Just finished the Flatline ... for my bass man with a nice buffer on me own pcb .
Really nice compressor , tranparent and does the "compression" really well.
Btw did a shoot out with me friends infamous K  comp = more transparent than K comp but less sustain . And the infamaous K seemed darker and bit blunt compared to the Flatline. I believe the infamous K miight be based on the Ross  so its two differant animal doin pretty much the same thing.
Actually i have gotten rid of all comps that i have owned due to being irritated of the noise / hiss factor (especially with dirt pedals) till i built the Flatline.
I have actually seen a similar schemo on some datasheet somewhere  anyways thanks John ...you Rock 
If the sustain can be increased i might want build one for myself 
Has anyone had success on increasing sustain ?? i know there has been lots talked bout flatline before ....
btw did a home brew LDR/LED combo ..with bright green led .
The LDR goes to abt 4M in dark ...had trouble measuring that ...

If you increase the compression/sustain level --the noise level will rise, and some of the "transparency" will decrease. There's no free lunch

Just a wee bit.  .. might play around with the 220 k resistor ... just a bit more with get what i want i hope .

Will just stick a VR and tweak it to taste ...
Anyways i fully agree that noise factor will be apparent with more sustain .
