PS: It fits in a 1590B BTW !
If you dont want to use the 300pf cap, then the 4.5v link to IC pin 3 can be moved over
along with the trace cut next to it for "neatness"

Looks cool.  Glad to see a vero resurgance, it was a bit stagnant for a while there.  I've got several more in the pipeline myself.

It could be a couple of strips shorter at the bottom, but that's the way I built it and it works well!
You could "neaten up" the diode arrangement/ground/input area to get it smaller, with a couple
of shared traces and cuts ....
