Hello,

i want to build this splitter for  a friend : http://geofex.com/FX_images/splitter.gif

I need a little  help on this :

In the power section of the schematic  you see two connections that are crossing ( base of 2n3904 via 4k7 to base of other 2n3904 and emitter via base to other emitter )  .  Is  this crossing  a  connection point or do i have  to solder a wire jumper in ?

I want to use a TL 071 CN  OP-Amp ,  will  this work ??

I got those Mouser 42TM018 Audio Transformers  but they have 6  leads .  How do these leads have to be connected ?

I never messed with transformers in my DIY projects  so  far , thats why i need  some  help .

I've successfully done  so far :
Roctave Divider
Oberheim Filter Sample & Hold
RedFuzz
Mosrite Fuzzrite
all the Tonebenders ( Mk2 , 3 Knob, Jumbo)
Fuzz Face
Colorsound Overdriver
Superfuzz
Pulsar ( with ticking in Chop mode :-(()
Roland Sustain ( great with strat  for clean stuff)

thanks  for  any  help i can get  here .

That's a connection point.

It'll be fine.

Find the primary and the secondary sides by the P and S printed on the transformer. Check the Mouser web site for the datasheet on the transformer and find the datasheet for the transformer. Use the datasheet to identify the centertap, then tie it in a knot on both primary and secondary sides so you won't use it. Use the datasheet to identify the dotted ends of both primary and secondary windings, then hook them up as shown.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

 :)

Cool ,  thank you very much , now I'm ready to start etching .
