Hi all;

A long time ago I met someone who was playing through a Colorsound Bass Fuzz. I loved the sound so I asked to make some pics

Here are some pictures he posted (not so good...... he did not have a decent camara to photograph it)

What I already got:
Transistor = Audio Frequency BC182 x3
The (or some) orange cap = 0.22 µf
Behind the battery holder = TOSIN 47 µf
A green cap: 0.022 µf
Tone knob = 100k (B)
Fuzz = 1k (A)
Volume = 100k (A)

I would love to have a schematic of this; I think it is a bass version of the Tonebender as there are three transistors in it. Any thoughts??????

I think that if you get clean, clear photos of the trace side of the board as well as the component side, it's trivial to make the schematic.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

I've got loads of Colorsound pedals but never come across that bass pedal (i want it! :) ). I'd figure that its just the standard fuzz circuit as used in the wah-fuzz pedal but with the few value changes to suit it to bass?

Bernardduur

Yes, I know; I need better pics. Will ask the guy to make better ones! (will take a while though)

"I want it too!" Just wanted to know if someone knew it....... like common mods to be done to a Tonebender to make it more suitable for bass!
