Hey guys...so I decided that I wanted to add a LED to my PCB original crybaby, and while I'm at it, might as well throw in some true bypass. I got a Fulltone 3pdt switch for the job along with a nice LED, resister, and plenty of shielded wire. I decided to remove the buffer section for better tone (removing 5 resisters and a transister). I followed the instructions at this website:
http://members01.chello.se/pastorn/fx/mods/dunlop.htm
That site only uses a dpdt with no LED, so I added the LED stuff in the middle column of the switch, and ended up fliping their design for wiring convience's sake. I wired everything up according to the diagram, and first tested that the LED was working properly....check! So I plugged it in to my amp, and it bypassed perfectly. I then turned it on, and it does work in wah mode, but there's also a fairly pronounced hum along with it! The hum is only present in wah mode, and does get "wah'd", as in it varys with the pedal's position. It is also still present even when my guitar volume is turned off (in front of the pedal, at the guitar, obviously). Any ideas what the culprit could be? Could wires being too close together be a problem? I also have a couple wires running under the circuit board (ground and + to LED, and wire running from the DC terminal to the switch to power the LED). Are there any ground loop problems I should be worried about or anything? Would pictures help? I'll include the diagram that I used to wire up the bypass on the PCB...

This is the end result (not my wah, but I wired it identicle) The orange is the effect input (send instrument to wah circuit) and the brown is a ground.

Here's the switch wiring diagram that I drew up/used...

ok wow i'm an idiot. the problem was the huuuge transformer sitting about 3 inches from it....once that was moved, it works perfectly!
