Which metal film caps and Tantalum caps should I order?

I've read a lot of posts and seen mods for various pedals and most recommend using Metal Film caps, a lot of times they specify Panasonic Metal Film caps.  I've been looking through my Digikey catalog and have noticed that there are a lot of different metal film capacitors but I'm not sure what I should try to get.

Here's a list of what I was looking at:

Panasonic V-Series (ECQ-V) +/- 5% Stacked Metallized Film capacitors
Panasonic E-Series (ECQ-E) Metallized Polyester Film capacitors
Panasonic (ECQ-E) Miniaturized Metallized Polyester Film capacitors
Panasonic  ECQ-E(F) Series Miniaturized Metallized Polyester Film capacitors

Then there's these Metallized Polyester Film capacitors that are in a blue rectangular box package:
BC (Beyschlag Centralab Components).

Also, which type/brand Tantalum caps would you recommend for pedal building?

Can somebody offer me some advice on what to order?

I'll offer you advice on what not to order :)

TANTALUM

If I'm wrong, please inform me, but I know of no good reason to use tants. here - it's expenssive and sounds crapy

Because they are small, and if they're good enough for Robert Keeley in his BD-2 mod and the Ibanez TS-9, then they are good enough
for me  !!   :icon_wink:

Panasonic ECQ poly caps from smallbear are GREAT, small and good quality, up to 0.1 uf
MKT or MKK for 0.2 up to 1uf, I use Tant's but mostly not in the audio path.
