Similar to a Lofomofo

Hey Everyone,
As I mentioned in another post I have a Lofomofo in progress, but in building it I remember seeing a schematic online somewhere that is a similar type of pedal. It had some kind of switch (rotary I think) that allows you to select between different "years". The different "years" would apply different lofi effects to the signal going through it.

Anyone have a link for this ?

Thanks,

The only one lately I can remember having a rotary switch, was a 741 Fuzz. I'm not sure if that's exactly the name of it, so you'll have to plug it into "Search". The LoFoMoFo is a low quality (LoFi) simulator, which makes you sound like you're playing through cheap equipment. The 741 Fuzz give you a pretty decent fuzz, and has different inout caps to change the tone. I may be sending you in the wrong direction, but I sure don't remember a rotary switch derivitive of the LoFoMoFo, but then again I'm not a fan of that circuit either.

the vintage radio emulator here looks like what you mean: http://www.vmsrecords.com/dissolute/pedals.html

i don't really get the schematic tough. it uses a double 5-way rotary right? but the first rotary actually goes into the second so you could use just one and  just put 2 caps in series on every position?  :icon_question:

and after the second switch the signal path is connected to ground??

That's the one! And from the look of it it's just a modified lofomofo that let's you switch some of the caps around. Back to the breadboard!

Thanks!
