Does it use the BMP distortion stages before the EQ?  Anyone have a schematic?   :icon_cool:

That's exactly what I've heard tell. I don't have a scheme tho, sorry.

As fuzzes go, it's pretty bland - 2 diodes and an op-amp if memory serves.  The key difference is that it includes a post-fuzz 5-band EQ, and an OTA stage (3080, possibly, but probably 3094) controlled by a sidechain extracted before the fuzz.  This retains the dynamics of the original input signal so that the usual compression of diode clipping is overcome.  I know Jack O sent me a hard-to-read scan way back when but  I think there is a cleaner schem posted somewhere.

This raises an interesting question/topic.  Many folks would like to have their cake in an edible form: hard, buzzy fuzz with "normal" dynamics.  It would not be all that hard to design and implement a simple fuzz with a sidechain that expands the output dynamics to conform to the original input.

Nope, havent tried the gallery. Don't know about it enough to ask how.
The schematic is in my Hotmail inbox. I can go there and look at it, not sure how to send it, I guess 'foreward' would work.
I notice Nelson doesn't have PM or Email, didn't yet [I'll start looking for them] notice if anyone else has them.
I'm not sure why my cyphered out of what you presented as an email adress, sending isn't working.

Wow, that is more complex than I expected.  Thank you very much.   :icon_cool:
