Found a bunch of these att my work. It's a dual gain control according to the datasheet. Do u guys think it's

They are VERY usefu, indeed.  They are found in:

  • delays, flangers, choruses, and some phasers as a means of reducing noise
  • they can be turned into decent limiters
  • they are used  in some octave dividers
  • these are found as the heart and soul of at least one vocoder ( http://www.paia.com/vocoder.htm )

...and many more.

Hang onto them.  Even if you don't want to build these things, someone somewhere will need one and be willing to trade you something you want for them.

Nice score!

Thanks Mark for your answer! I will put these in a comfortably place and let them rest!!
I have found a great bunch of different IC's at my company that comes from telecom-equiptment that's no longer are in use, both used and "new" components.
