I just built the Odie from runoffgroove.com
When I look at it on the scope the source follower stage at the end clips off the bottom half of the signal.  Is this normal?
DC voltage on the source is .3V
Everything else looks great all the way up to the gate of the last stage.
Thanks

Mhhh.  Looking at the schematic you are supossed to get near 0.3V if you use a J201, which of course will produce the effect you mention.

Do you have an MPF102 to try at the last stage instead?  If not, place another 680k resistor from GATE to +9V and the source of the last JFET will bias around 4V.

Will PM Brian about this.

Thanks for the help.  I didn't socket the transistors but I will breadboard it and see what happens.
