Could you point me in the right direction please?

Hey everyone-
I've been working on a Ross clone using RG's layout, and was wanting to mod it into a Saffron Squeeze. I tried the pedal with the original Ross values, and it squished the hell out of my guitar. Sounded nice and squishy: everything was just fine.
Fast forward to present. Using the schematic http://aronnelson.com/gallery/SteveC/saffron2?full=1, I made the necessary changes (which sounds nice). Now the compressor only responds to a really light touch (with the trimpot turned correctly), farts horribly when 'dug into', and the sustain is bunched at the last 1/8 of the 500kB pot and cuts out the volume when turned down.
I ask you, could you point me where to look perhaps to correct this problem. Otherwise, I may just revert back to the Ross and change by ear.

Reference voltage (sorry, forgot): 9.13V

OpAmp
1 none
2 4.75V
3 4.77V
4 none
5 0.627V
6 5.27V (this looks odd compared to Ross voltages)
7 9.13V
8 none

Q1 (look odd)
C 4.65
B 5.14
E 4.54

Q2 (look odd too)
C 4.67
B 5.22
E 4.59

Q3
C 9.04
B 0
E 0

Q4
C 9.04
B 0
E 0

Q5
C 9.14
B 9.03
E 8.45

Any help would be great. Maybe I substituted the wrong value(s) or something's just off. Thanks a bunch. I owe you guys a lot. Happy Holidays (gotta be PC since I'm a teacher- don't want to offend :) )

bioroids

The voltages on the transistors seem really odd. They are either saturated or at cut-off!

On the opamp, what do you mean with 'none' ?

none = no voltage. the CA3080 should have no voltage at pins 1 and 8.

I'm wondering if something is up with the voltage divider causing problems. Thanks.
