I have this plan,

-I have a bass/guitar wah pedal. That witha flick of a toggle switch it is either optimised for bass or guitar.

-Both my Bassist and I wish to be able to use this pedal at different times in a song, NOT at the same time.

-I came up with many different circuit designs, but this one is the one with the least switches  :icon_confused:

-The picture I've drawn (on paint) is showing how the wiring will work

I need to know, firstly is it ok? Have I missed something out?

I have taken into account the grounding and had that switched too.

This project is sort of hoping that a 6pdt switch of some sort exists.

If this doesn't exist I need further suggestions.

If anyone know where you can get 6pdt switches in the uk please reply here!!

anyhow heres the idea... I wish you could get 6pdt footswitches...

I think that you'll struggle to find a 4DPDT switch, never mind 6 !!!
How about using 2X 3DPDT's .... close enough together to hit with one "stomp" ?

I guess I'm confused...if you DON'T want to use the effect at the same time, wouldn't you want 2 switches, not one?

Because he needs two sets of ins and outs ...

Having two switches is an option, however on stage wouldn't there be big humming noises when one switch is turned on fractionally earlier than another one?  This is my dilema!! Unless I set about trying to set out the switches.

My plan, is that with one stomp:
The guitar comes out of clean chain into the wah chain, and the bass comes out of the wah chain into the clean chain.
And if noone wants to use the wah we switch it off : )  IT's like an external AB CD XY box!? not sure how to explain...

Ah, I get it.

I don't think it would have humming with 2 switches.  But I could be wrong.  I just don't think 6DPDTs exist.

Well the hum would be from me accidently pressing one switch and not the other resulting in the grounds switching but not live... hmm keep posting ideas, im going to try and draw out 2 seperate switches and see if i can still get a safe hum free situation...

I think I'll have to accept that after an entire day spent searching for 6pdt switches on the net... they don't exist... :(  So I'm going to do it by having 2  3pdt switches (if I can find any)  It would be nice if people could direct me as to where i could find them.

otherwise its going to have to be 3 dpdt switches which is my worst nightmare!!

As far as I know, smallbearelec.com has them.  Their website won't load right now :-(

If they don't have it, try mouser.
