Hmm...I can't pull up my freewebs site today.  It took forever to get their login page to display.  I wonder if  Freewebs is having trouble right now.  I posted the layouts in my gallery here at Aron's, but if the soundclip link doesn't work soon I'll find another way to post it.

  Looks like you've opted for the FZ-1A.
  The added 470k looks like a more stable biasing arrangement, I'd guess the transistor types and this is different for the FZ-1/1A
  That's a very small bias resistor from Q3 base to Gnd.
  you're running it at 1.5v?
  Very interesting, perhaps I give the LHXS-2 a rest and try this for a time.

Hi Pete!  I'm turning into a Fuzzhead.   
Yeah mine runs off a 1.5v battery.  Its an easy perf build.
