Whee!

I don't know why I didn't buy a half decent DMM till now... but I didn't. The Velleman DVM850BL is a great value. I had stopped making transistor circuits that required specific gains a long time ago instead of buying a replacement for the RS teeny weenie DMM I bought about 5 years ago. Go figure.

I went right to gain measuring of my little Ge collection and stuck a CV7112 with a gain of 99 in one of my already built NPN Fuzzfaces at Q1 just to see what it be like. It be good!! It has tone now instead of just fizz.

There's a BC108C at Q2. This thing rocks. It doesn't get totally clean when you back off the guitar volume but rather goes from creamy to crunchy. It's happening!!

There will be sound samples forthcoming.

P.S. Thanks Marty!!!!!!

I told you they were good !   :icon_wink:
I think you get that woody/spongy "ole English '60's Fuzz"  tone from them, not everyone's taste
but they get me "goin"  !

Cheers,
Marty.

( descriptions of tone/sound are SOO hard eh ? )
