i recently placed an order for some parts for a few projects on mouser. i accidentally ordered one of the types of capacitors i needed as ceramic chip capacitors - i guess thats what you get when you order stuff at 3 in the morning. has anyone ever used these before? im not sure if it would even be possible for someone who just does this stuff as a hobby; they are slightly larger than a grain of sand and dont have any leads coming off of them. itd be a shame to pay 6 bucks in shipping to have a dollar worth of parts sent out to me, so does anyone have any tips on how i might go about trying to get these things to work?

It's very easy tro use them with perf board.

Make a little dot of solder on one pad. Hold the part with your finger nail, placing one end on top of the solder dot and the other on top of an empty pad. Touch the solder dot with your iron to ment it and the part will drop into place against the board. It is now soldered on one side. Solder the other side to the pad under it and there you go.
