Hi,

I recently finished the real mctube from Fred Nachbaur (RIP)

http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/tubestuf/mctube.htm

I used Tonepad PCB layout.

A big thank  to FP and paul marossy for help. ;)

PICTURES :

I use european Version, I use Two transformer : 220 Volt -> 12 volt ( 5 VA), 400ma on secondary, and 24 Volt -> 220 Volt, 3.2 VA, 300 ma on secondary.

mods that I have done:

I added a marshall's tonestack that I placed instead of R8.
I omitted R9 resistor.
I used 500 K log for GAIN and 1 Mega Log for VOLUME.
I added a Clean swith that disconnect C7.

SAMPLES :

I record somes samples with my Epiphone guitare, passive pickup , to a Mia midi Card throught a yahama Mixer.
Don't pay attention  to the muddy of the sound.
the mctube has a huge Dynamics and great High response, To Listen really the Mctube response, I have to record samples with a AMP and SM57, that's would be better  :)

thanks,

On this one I tried another Design conception..

I painted all the box and I Print my design on a transparent Stick sheet, that I put On the Box.
After that I spray some varnish, it's done! ;)

I Used A JJ Tesla 12ax7, ECC83 and NOT KT88
I bought It from tube-town

You can find KT88 On tube town here :http://www.tubetown.de/ttstore/product_info.php/info/p26_JJ-KT88---6550.html

Both the outside and inside look great.  I'm a big fan of "guts" shots.  I like the idea of a separate housing for the power supply too.  Very nice work.

Thanks!

YEs I USe another Boxe For the Power supply to Not have Noise problem.

YOu will laught ;D On the Beginning, I tried to put ALL,power supply and Audio circuit in Only one Boxe :

With that concept, I had a lot of Noise due to the proximity of the transformers.
I know I was optimisted...

Awesome looking pedal.  I like the 2 box idea.  I need to build this one, so many projects, so little time.

Can i see your marshall's tonestack Schematic that placed instead of R8( 1M ) please.

Thank you.  :D

tube pedals, by rule of thumb, ALWAYS look better when the tubes are prominently displayed outside the enclosure. Nice going.
