any of you guys familiar with the JRC4064B  opamp ? ive used my regular search engines, but havent found any info....i could use a datasheet, replacement PN#'s, etc...

looking for a lower noise alternative for a mic preamp...

I can't get a hit either, are you sure that's the right number?? doesn't sound like an op amp from JRC.

Looks like the lowest noise opamp NJR makes is the NJM2122.

thats the # thats stamped on the top of the opamps....theyre a 8 pin, dual inline package opamp...it seemed like a wierd # to me too, but i triple checked it....

my guess is a dual opamp, and maybe TL072, 82, etc will work, but......hmmm....

issue solved due to temporary stupidity....thanks to all who checked....

the parts is actually JRC2068D ...looks like i can use OPA2134 or OPA2132 as subs, among others....

I have a bunch of NJM2068D's, they seem to be really good. I use them anywhere a 4558 or LM833N would go.

I like the Analog Devices AD826 a lot.  Takes a lot of voltage and draws a lot of current, but it sounds superb (actually, it has very little sound of its own - that's what's superb about it for a mic pre or mixer).
